Sometimes it can feel like your life is out of your control. As if there is some overarching system put in place you are not aware of.
The thing about reality is you don’t have to spend a considerable amount of time attempting to piece it together.
You don’t need to figure it out fully - just enough so that reality itself keeps revealing to you the next step required for you to take towards your evolution.
Here are some good ideas to remain in control of your destiny.
- Pay attention to your choices. When you're making a decision, big or small, take a second to ask yourself why. You might be surprised at what you discover.
- Figure out what really matters to you. Not what you think should matter, but what actually does. Make a list and see how your day-to-day life lines up with it.
- Try meditation or just taking a few deep breaths now and then. It sounds cheesy, but it helps you get out of autopilot mode.
- Learn about the things that affect your life. Whether it's how the government works or how social media algorithms function, knowledge really is power.
- Focus on the stuff you can actually change. You can't control everything, but you can control how you react, what you do, and the choices you make.
- Instead of freaking out about uncertainty, try to see it as a chance for something good to happen. Easier said than done, I know, but it's worth a shot.
- At the end of the day, think about what happened and how you feel about it. You'd be surprised how much this can change your perspective over time.
